Full Circle Believes...

At Full Circle Community Wellness, we believe in the values of diversity and inclusion.  More specifically, we believe in the diversity of thoughts, ideas, beliefs, experiences, and the inclusion of people regardless of their race, color, sexual identity or orientation, language, national origin, socioeconomic status, religion or age.  In addition to supporting the principles of diversity and inclusion,  Full Circle Community Wellness is on a journey to be an anti-racist organization. EVERYONE CAN RECOVER
We've seen even the most severe conditions yield to steady healing support and counseling.

RECOVERY IS A JOURNEY
It is personal and unique to each individual. It is a process with ups and downs.

MANY THINGS IN OUR LIVES CAN SUPPORT OUR RECOVERY
Formal counseling is helpful, but it is often the unsought elements of our lives which provide the critical change.

RECOVERY TAKES A TEAM
Sometimes it is a formal team, with everyone accepting a role. Sometimes it is an informal team with a network of people in our lives who play important but unspoken functions. The team is always greater than the sum of the members.

RECOVERY IS MULTI-FACETED
There are so many dimensions to us as people and to life. The more an illness has affected us and our lives, the more dimensions we need to address in the recovery process.

RESEARCH IS CRITICAL
We are passionately dedicated to using the most compelling research and tools, as well as conducting ongoing research to answer the questions relevant to our clients.

RELATIONSHIPS ARE CENTRAL
We exist in relationship with everything around us. It is these relationships that are effected by illness and through these relationships that healing comes. We believe authentic, balanced, healthy, safe and nurturing relationships are helpful whatever the stage of the recovery journey.

THERE IS HEALING POWER IN THE PRESENT MOMENT
Modern research continues to validate the power of mindfulness as a tool for counseling and healing. We aim to incorporate mindfulness into everything we provide including formal empirically validated techniques for counseling such as DBT, ACT, MBSR, MBCT, hypnosis and relaxation techniques. We also seek to collaborate with resources to extend this practice into the lives of our team members, such as massage, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, tai chi, etc.

RECOVERY SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE
We believe recovery shouldn't be limited to only those who have access to resources and expensive programs. We strive to make wellness and recovery affordable and available to everyone!
