Sharon Young, PhD and Matt Snyder, PsyD, LPCS are a dynamic, experienced team that are passionate about helping inspired individuals to create transformative, hopeful, and healing environments in which exceptional people with mental health or dual recovery challenges can recover, grow, and thrive. We offer individualized and comprehensive program development and implementation consultation services. Virtually every aspect of the creation, development and management of a community centered program can be offered as a part of this service.
The first step is a guided process to identify the needs of the organization. Based on the outcome of this process, a range of selected services can be implemented. All of these services are presented and provided in a collaborative way with plentiful opportunities for feedback to insure client satisfaction and intentional planning, progress, and monitoring.
Depending on the development stage of the organization, an initial objective might be to assist the organization define their vision, mission, and values. This step can be closely followed with the selection and development of overarching guidelines and policies based upon experience and research. With those foundational elements in place, a comprehensive treatment program can be developed with accompanying fidelity and research measures. Consultation on management philosophy and strategies to develop a congruent and healthy staff and community culture can also be included.

2) Conceptual and Philosophical Overview that emphasizes and integrates various conceptual models such as the Mental Health Recovery Model, Therapeutic Community, and Holistic/Progressive approaches to Wellness that are supported with empirical evidence
3) Description of Core and Supplemental Programming offerings in each of the main programmatic areas including implementation guidelines
4) Fidelity Measures for each program area
5) Outcomes/Research Program Package including selection of measures, research design, implementation plan, and format for analyzing and presenting information
6) Staffing Configuration Recommendations including organizational structure, job descriptions, client/staff ratios, staff evaluation processes, and various hiring guidelines/processes
7) Format for Annual Strategic Planning approach that is consistent with values
8) Staff Training approach including specific materials, structure, and training of trainers (such as training in Motivational Interviewing and other positive motivational approaches, boundaries training, and training de-escalation techniques)
