Tatum Youngjohn

Psychotherapy Intern & Administrative Assistant
Contact Tatum

Hello! I am a clinical mental health counseling intern working toward LCMHC licensure, and I also serve as the Administrative Assistant here at Full Circle. I bring both professional training and hands-on experience to our work together, supporting you as we explore your goals and values.

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions and work with adolescents (12 and up) and adults.

In our sessions, we will explore what matters most to you - your values, your sense of purpose, and the deeper motivations that shape how you move through the world. Rather than pushing difficult thoughts and emotions aside, we will acknowledge their presence and their importance while gently directing your focus toward living in alignment with the life you actually want to be living.

I first entered the therapeutic world five years ago as a wilderness therapy field staff, where I witnessed—and personally experienced—the profound growth that occurs when we are challenged to do hard things. Inspired by this work, I continued into a direct care role at a dual-diagnosis treatment center supporting individuals navigating both substance use and trauma. In both settings, I deepened my understanding of the significance of seeing the whole person, recognizing each individual as more than a diagnosis or set of symptoms. I learned to hold space for the complexity of each client’s story, honoring their strengths and insights while supporting them in defining, for themselves, what a meaningful life looks like.

Therapy looks different for everyone, and I believe the process itself should reflect that. I bring a genuine sense of curiosity to each session, working to understand your unique story without assumption or judgment. When the moment calls for it, I'll bring some playfulness into the room, because sometimes the lightest moments can carry the deepest shifts. And when it serves you, I'll offer thoughtful challenge, encouraging you to examine patterns, question old narratives, and step into new ways of thinking and being.
