I love big questions. Raw, human questions that don’t have easy answers, that circle back again and again in different seasons of life. Sitting with these questions can stir something in us.
Maybe you’re navigating a transition from one life chapter to another. Or your story took a sudden twist, and you’re dealing with challenges you didn’t see coming. Maybe you’ve felt unsettled for a while, with a growing sense that the old plot no longer fits.
Therapy helps us uncover the questions at the heart of our story, making room for new insights to emerge. I believe we have a right to shape our stories, even if they go against what the world might expect (and they often do). But our wounds can get in the way.
Therapy can be a brave step. It takes courage to tell the truth, to let yourself know what you know. To confront the mysteries pursuing you, questions asking something of you in return.
It helps to have a companion on this journey. Whatever you’re facing, I will welcome all parts of you with empathy, realness, and acceptance. Wherever you find yourself, you are worthy of a soft place to land, where you can be seen and heard. It is my goal to provide support in shaping your life story–past, present, and future.
My approach to counseling is integrative and holistic, shaped around the individual needs of each client. I incorporate aspects of person-centered counseling, attachment theory, IFS-informed parts work, mindfulness-based practices, depth psychology, existentialism, and narrative therapy. Asking big questions has been a theme of my own journey in therapy, and I have both personal experience and clinical interest in religious trauma recovery, deconstruction, and spiritual development.
In the past, I ran a digital content team at a marketing software company. I was certified as a life coach in 2014, and have worked with an array of clients and businesses on brand and personal development. Throughout my career, my deepest joy has come from connecting with people about what matters most to them. As I entered mid-life, my pull toward aligning with this joy inspired a natural move into the counseling field.
I look forward to connecting and learning more about you.
- Who am I?
- What is the meaning of my life?
- What do I know, but haven’t yet admitted to myself?
