I’m thrilled to share a bit about myself and my work as a counselor. I am a neurodivergent therapist and constructivist, and I am deeply committed to creating spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My approach is centered on helping clients make meaning of their experiences, explore their identities, and build self-acceptance. I work with a wide range of clients, including Black and Brown adults and teens, LGBTQIA+ individuals, non-monogamous or non-traditional couples and families, and youth navigating self-esteem and identity development.
Being open about my own neurodivergence allows me to bring both lived and professional perspectives into my work. I aim to destigmatize differences, normalize diverse ways of thinking, and help clients embrace their authentic selves. I draw on a constructivist framework, empowering clients to make sense of challenges and opportunities in ways that are meaningful to them. Creativity, artistic expression, and empathy are central to my practice, and I integrate these elements to help clients reflect, grow, and thrive.
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience. Whether clients are facing questions about identity, relationships, or self-esteem, I strive to offer an affirming, collaborative environment where they can explore, experiment, and develop a stronger sense of self. Counseling, to me, is a space where transformation is possible, and I feel honored to guide people along that journey.
Outside of counseling, I love making music with my partner, spending time outdoors, and enjoying life with our four cats. These activities keep me grounded, creative, and connected to the joy in everyday moments.
