I have a deep belief in people and their capacity for resilience, growth, fulfillment, and bringing their own unique magic into the world. I also believe that supportive connection and community in which people are truly seen and valued are the conditions in which these qualities flourish.
The non-judgmental, receptive listening that occurs in therapy can be all too rare in our world. It is my goal that our relationship and sessions be a sanctuary in which processing, healing, growing, and shifting into a more aligned and fulfilling life – whatever that means to you - is empowered. Moreover, that the experience creates impacts beyond the therapy sessions to establish more of these empowering sanctuaries in your daily life.
As a therapist, I pull from many modalities to support each client’s unique preferences and goals. From a strong person-centered foundation, I see with a relational-cultural, trauma and somatic-informed, holistic lens. I may also utilize expressive arts, emotion focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and internal family systems.
As a human, I can often be found adoring nature, enjoying live music, in spiritual practice, reading, or spending time with loved ones. My career has woven through various therapeutic roles such as crisis support in Philadelphia, teaching Yoga in Ecuador, and providing therapy in internships in occupational therapy and mental health counseling. I am currently earning my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Lenoir Rhyne University.
I have immense respect for those who embark on the journey of therapy with a willingness to explore themselves and lovingly clear anything they’ve picked up along the way that clouds their innate wholeness and actualization from shining through. It is an honor to witness and support you on your path.
